A cool-off was calling and Carmel answered. As Fourth of July loomed, I saw the forecast and got out of dodge just in time to enjoy brisk ocean breezes and temperatures.

Not much of a post here, other than enjoying what Carmel-by-the-Sea had to offer; shops, restaurants, a quaint hotel, and easy access to HWY 1, to make my way up the coast and back in. All in time to see fireworks the entire drive back to Sacramento. How was your Fourth?
