“Hey, want to follow along in a car behind the AMGEN Tour of California peloton tomorrow?” My friend, Brandon texts me.
“What time?!” Of course, I’m going to say yes.
The next day I find myself in a VIP Experience car sailing along the riders themselves. Those being the racers in the AMGEN Tour of California, an annual statewide cycling race that, luckily, finished in Sacramento this year. Riders flurried around the delta region, then sped on up to return to downtown Sacramento for an overall finish. What a treat!
