Sacramento Valley Station, a space in transition

Having the joy of following along the progress of one project for years is quite a privilege, seeing one that is so historic in nature is another joy altogether. As the Sacramento Valley Station undergoes such a drastic transformation, with renovations of spaces not used in at least 50  years, it’s amazing to see how the overall feeling changes with such newness.

On a recent survey, I’m once again finding myself here, in awe as a familiar space seems unfamiliar. I can’t wait to see the new shops and offices that will occupy the currently empty corners of the grand building.

A new space occupies an old one.
