What better way to spend a Friday morning with some newborn puppies and other dogs that are in desperate need of being adopted! Such a moving experience hanging out with a few dogs that will definitely be taken home by a loving family and the flip side: those that might not make it past the week.

In editing a handful of these for work, I couldn’t help but capture some of the light in a few of the cages. Funny how there’s beauty in some of the less pleasant places in life. That’s not to paint a depressing picture, though, I was just exploring some of the tones I would have never expected to pop up here.
